2D to 3D does not complete

Hello,
Welp, I've tried repeatedly to convert AVATAR DVD from 2D to 3D and it's an abject failure each time. So I think that its time to ask for help.
I've got an Nvidia GeForce GT220 display card. I've got CUDA acceleration turned off.
I am attempting to use the avi.xvid.ac3 profile for the conversion. It starts out OK but after a time it slows down considerably and finally completely stops. I changed profile selection and tried it with a TS profile and that gets me nowhere as well.

If so, you should be using the Ripper option instead.
