I have been ripping all of my 3D Blu-rays as FULL SBS (3840x1080) because of the doubled resolution. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I swear it still looks like it's in half-sbs as though each pixel is doubled horizontally. I went back and forth between just showing 1 of the two images in stereoscopic player to showing it in 3D, and the stereoscopic version looked like what I just said. It made me wonder: are 3D Blu-Rays naturally in half-sbs, or are they in full SBS with no stretching of the picture? Also, if I rip a 3D blu-ray to MKV in full-SBS, will it be true full SBS, or just half-sbs pre-stretched to full SBS? Thanks.
