dvd to avi for pda

Hi all,

Just wondering if any one could offer any advice regard converting some dvd to avi files, would normally use mp4 but the device we have doesn't support them so having to go with avi. We have a 7" pad/gps thing which I believe has a resoluation of 480 x 800 and I wondered what the best setting would be, really I suppose it doesn't have to be high quality has on a screen that small its not gonna make much difference and the smaller the file size the better. Any help would be great. Thanks

The only way is to test it for yourself and what is acceptable for you.
Not knowing what the device is "7" pad/gps thing" is not a good description.
Also you would not be using the video converter option in Fab, you would use the ripper option.
