Hi there
I am looking to convert 10-15 ripped dvds (vob files) to something my Kindle Fire HD would like. I believe MP4 is the preferred format.
I would PREFER also to rip them in the future to this format in the first place to avoid rip / convert.
I'm not afraid of doing some work or research, so don't be afraid to give me some detailed advice. I'd rather do it right than quick.
The current ripped dvds are setup with two folders inside MOVIE_NAME folder. Inside this folder is AUDIO_TS (empty) and VIDEO_TS which has vob and other files inside.
I've tried both coverting and ripping feature with DVD FAB 9.1.1.x with little or no luck. The first way takes an extraordinary amount of time and I've never actually allowed it to go all the way (Id' have to let it run over night for one movie). Ripping seemed to work at first then it got permanently hung up on the second vob file. Both ways seem to export to mutliple files vs. my preferred method of ending up with ONE file.
Any help appreciated. Again, I'm no lazy bones. If I need 3 programs and two computers & 3 hands to do it right, that's what I'll do! haha!
