Okay guys I am converting m2ts files around 17 to 23gb size to MP4 h.264. I selected the 2 way conversion pass and was wondering if there is a difference between the 1 way or the 2 way conversion pass? What should my settings be and if selecting the 1 way conversion result in lower video quality? Also so far the conversion has taken almost 3 hours and it's 36% on the first pass? Any ideas also on why it's taking so long?

Your settings depend on your target device so more detail required and 2 pass vs 1 pass is not worth the extra time IMHO.

My target device is on an external drive. I switched to MKV and am doing one pass and it's already 5% at 7 minutes in to the conversion.Originally posted by GregiBoy View PostComment
