Add-on Installation - Video Downloader install broken

When I click on the "Download Now" button to download the new Video Downloader dialog, the pop up "Add-on download" shows up.
Soon after the download begins, progress gets to 21762K/27203K and the dialog is replaced with a box which says
"Download Failed!
Failed to download the add-on. Please check your network connection. Re-download now? "

When I select "Retry" it repeats and fails in exactly the same spot, every time. Even over multiple reboot and re-installation cycles.
There is no size limit to my downloads, and no file size limits either. This does not appear to have anything to do with my network. Any ideas?
Is there an alternate way to download this feature?

HI: I just downloaded it and all went well check to see your security program is not blocking it or a pop up blocker then try again.

Nope, no pop up blocker and no security program problems either.

Did you install successfully now?

maybe you can install the plug-in manually, please follow these steps:

1. Download the plug-in manaully.

2. Copy the downloaded .plg file to the DVDFab9/Temp/plugin_download folder.

3. Click Download button in Converter or Creator module.

4. Click Yes option on the pop up dialog.
