Converting MKV to mp4 is taking 15hours and more

I am converting mkv files approx 256-350mb to mp4, this used to take a couple of hours tops, but in the last 3 upgrades it is taking days to convert files.

currently I am converting on 356mb file from mkv to mp4 and it has now been running for 20hours and is up to 7%

Post the internal log for this attempt. I just did the same conversion in 15 minutes, so you have a problem somewhere else.

      Hi
I have enclosed the reports as requested, it has only just finished, it has taken over 46hrs to do one conversion of 565mb .mkv format to mp4.

DVD fab shut itself down and I think I have lost the ending.

I started this on the 29May15 and it ended 1Jun15, I have uploaded 2 files with 1Jun15 date and there is also one on the 29May15 for burn, but I didn't burn anything.

you may also assist me in why Mkv format exists, I cannot open it with anything, TV, PC, media player (that supports 50 different formats).

It was a missed free to air TV show i wanted to catch up on and the only format I could find was mkv. Grrrrr

        Sorry me Again

I am further confused because I have uploaded the mkv files again, but when they upload to DVDfab their profile is now mp4 but they are actually still in mkv on my PC ??????

As stated only one file converted in 46hrs but still seems cut off at the end, the second file has converted only 2 seconds of the show.

Try disabling all GPU codecs, that GT 250 may be doing more harm than good during the conversion process. See attached:
