I think it should convert the whole file with the watermark. I have no problems converting x264 to x265 on my GTX 1060 using CUDA.Leave a comment:

H.265 Conversion issues on Trial
Running the Trial 10.0.2.1 to see if I want to purchase.
I'm running into two problems that I would like to know are either a trial version issue (and thus will go away when I purchase), or something that is the same in the paid version as well and thus a problem.
1) When converting from h.264 to h.265 using CUDA encoding on my 980 GTXs with 378.49 drivers, the process says it finishes but only about half the movie is actually in the output file. Is this because it is a trial version? It has the watermark, but I thought that was the only limitation. Here are the log entries for my most recent attempt:
2) CUDA does not work when trying to encode 4k h.264 into h.265. It only does software and it then runs at about 4fps conversion. Is this also a trial limitation or a known problem?
