MKV Profile

I often will convert my MPG files that I download from my Tivo into MKV files, usually at 720p.

How can I duplicate the MKV profile so that I can have an MKV-720p and an unmodified MKV profile?

Just use the MKV pass through profile it will pass through audio and video as is.

I usually want to take the TV Show 1080p source material and take it down to 720p for my Plex server.

Try the regular Mkv profile and set the settings like this the resolution is a pull down box and the pixels slider bar controls the file size.All the way up makes a big file with best quality.The audio will be pass through.
