How to convert 3D mkv to 2D mkv?

I have a 3D h/OU mkv that I want to convert into a 2D mkv. I've tried the Conversion option twice, choosing regular 2D mkv as the output, but it just makes another 3D h/OU mkv.

I don't have the source file anymore to rip it. All I have is the already made 3D mkv.

Their are 3d players free or free to try that can play one side of a side by side movie.Google some 3p players and try but to covert to 2d I don't think any can do this once made..If you find one to play one side of a 3d side by side then you can use a screen recorder to record it.Best to get another copy and start fresh.

Here is a free 3d player where as you can play the side by side in full screen or as 2d under 3d controls one setting is for for side by side one setting for over and under.

Nevermind, I found another program to do this. It would be nice though if Fab introduced this feature.
