I have a large 4K video file encoded with AVC and I want to convert to h.265. Converter has no trouble opening the file and I'm able to set the output to what I want, but when I try to encode it, converter just sits there doing nothing. I've attached the log

Hello, did you try other files rather than The New World.mkv? Same issue?
How about converting this file to using other profile? Can it work?
Please attach a complete dvdfab_internal log session for the conversion, post the fabcheck_internal log file too. -
I did some experimenting over the weekend, and it seems to be an issue with converting from AVC encoding to h265. If I set the output to h264 the conversion runs great, but with h265 output it just hangs and does nothing. For the record, this is with Intel QuickSync on a Core 17-7700 CPU using Windows 10 and the latest release of DVDfab.Comment
