Converted size is now huge

Using version 11.0.8.9 the file size was about 1.5GB for my movie and in the new 11.1.0.3 it is 2.2 GB. Why are the converted sizes so large?

I had a profile where I changed the resolution to 1024 from 1920 and volume to 250. Using the same profile in the latest version doubled the file size.

We have adjusted the bitrate output for Fast, Standard and High Quality in the new versions of DVDFab, which means the Fast in the new version was referring to the Standard in the old version. To get a smaller size, please use Customize option to manually adjust the bitrate.

So, if I continue to use an old profile for Apple Air2, I need to do the adjustment for each file I convert?

After you adjust the settings, you can save it as a default profile. So you can pick it for the conversion.

Pick Fast in the Advanced Settings windows should be able to the same quality and size as those older versions. Please have a try.
If you want a smaller size than the "Fast" you can customize the bitrate per your need.

Mobile profiles will default to use Fast for video quality.
