Blu-Ray rip appears to transfer in iTunes but does not appear on iPad

    Hello.

I created a Blu-Ray rip of "Book of Eli" using the iPad template in the latest version of DVDFab.

The file was added to the iTunes library with no problem, and plays fine within iTunes.

Selecting the "Create iPad or AppleTV version" option in iTunes reports that the file is in the correct format.

The file appears to physcially sync fine from iTunes - no errors are reported and the useable space shown on the iPad goes down - but the file does not show up under "Videos" on the iPad itself.

Any ideas of what could be causing this? Operating system is Windows 7 Pro 64-bit; latest iTunes, latest DVDFab, latest iPad firmware.

    Thanks!

    Follow-up

By way of follow-up, it seems that the exact same file transfers and plays just fine on the iPhone 4.

      Just the opposite

By default the Blu-Ray Ripper. ripped the movie to m4v extension by chosing "iPod/iPhone". m4v is no more supported by iPhone or iPod. It has to be in mp4 extension.

There is no problem of ripping DVD.
