DVDFAB crashes when loading source

I am using DVDFAB8 and want to convert .MTS files to .WMV. When I browse to the source .MTS file and load it, DVDFAB crashes and restarted.

I'm looking for any assistance to resolve this.

Are these mts files from a Blu-ray that was ripped to hard drive? If that is correct then you need to use Blu-ray ripper to do what you want
