    Convert dvd to AMV Format?

I'm trying to Convert dvd to AMV Format, yet I can't seem to find the right setting. I have an Eclipse 180 SL. Any suggestions? Thanks, D. McCarty

    Hi, peachpitt,

AMV file is not available in DVDFab for now, but, since your Eclipse 180 SL supports to play MP4 file, why not try DVDFab DVD Ripper, use "MP4" or "Generic" mode, choose the profile as "generic.mp4.h264.aac" to convert to see if you can play the converted video on your Eclipse 180 SL or not?

Convert dvd to AMV Format? Continued......

Thank you, malcolm, your reply helped get me on the right track. I had to convert my dvd in two steps. Using DVDFab DVD Ripper, I converted my dvd to a .mp4 format first & then used an "AMV Converting tool to do the final converting to an .amv format. (Which it turns out is the only extension (video format) that my Eclipse can utilize. So, once again, I thank you guys (& gals).
