Video Converter - Conversion shrinking file size far too much

I am using latest "HDR enabled" Video Converter to reduce the file size of 4K HDR x265 MKV 10-Bit videos.
The original MKV's have bit rate of 75000 kbps and are about 86GB in size.
I am setting new bit rate to 30720 kbps hoping to get a file size of about 35GB.
However Video Converter produces a file size of 11GB with a bit rate of about 6000kbps. And the file is corrupt.
I have tried multiple files, multiple times but getting same result.
I am using CUDA encoding (NVidia GTX1060) with Lightning Shrink enabled.

The Ripper program works perfectly with 4K HDR UHD disks, but Video Converter doesn't.

As a correction. I am using DVDFab x64 version, not x86.

Please post dvdfab_internal.log file and fabcheck_internal.log file.

Hi mona. Log files attached. The output mkv file was corrupt. It was 10.9GB in size and had a video bit rate of 7913kbps (not the 30720kbps set in the config).
Since my post I set H.265 decoding to "Software" and H265 encoding to "Cuda". This workaround worked fine. The file size was correct and the mkv was not corrupted. HDR was also retained. The process took over 2 hours to complete rather than the 35-40 minutes I would have expected with CUDA set for decode and encode.
