    King Kong 2005 - UHD Steelbook Set Bonus Disc Failing to play

    I have made a copy of the Bonus Disc of King Kong 2005 (Iso file). See screenshot as the latest DVDFab 11 is stating there is still an issue prior to making the backup. I also have the same Issue on playback when a backup is made with the latest Passkey 9!

    When testing playback on my Windows 10 PC all DVDFab Players 3, 5 and 6 freeze just after English is selected. None of them get to the Main Menu to select the special features. Player 5 is set for Region B and Player 6 is set to Region A for testing.

    I have PowerDVD 20 set for Region A and it plays the Menu and Extras/Special features with no issues. The same for Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 6 set for Region B.

    There must be an issue with the DVDFab software players and the feedback from DVDFab 11/BluPath.

    I burnt the copied Iso file to a Ritek BDR50 disc and it plays fine in my Panasonic DP-UB820EB UHD player!

      Please zip the whole Player log folder and send it to us.
      Also, please upload this iso file to our FTP fo analyzing, thank you in advance.

        I will organise the upload to your ftp asap, the Iso name will be - "SIEVEIS_KINGKONG_UPB1". I will attach the rar files of the full log folders for Player 5 (no amendments) and Player 6 cleared and tested just the Iso file this morning. Just a note, when the players freeze I have stopped them manually.

        Can you also please advise why DVDFab 11 is giving those messages about BluPath and the Structural protection?

          This information is to tell you what kind of protection this disc contains.

          The highlighted message in your attached image means what it says, it requires a cloud update or a version update.
          Please open the original movie disc in Windows File Explorer, make a folder containing everything in the disc volume EXCEPT those .m2ts files under \...BDMV\Stream, zip it and upload it to our FTP site. Thanks again.
