    Missing meter

In version 11, there was a meter (or gauge) in the upper right hand corner of the main screen that showed the rate that data was being processed in MB/s. This has been removed in version 12.

Any chance we could get that back? I really missed it. I found it very handy for checking how a task was proceeding with just a glance at the screen.

After starting the process, it will show on the interface as shown on the image above, please have a try.

      Mona,

The CPU/GPU loading you show in your screen shot is not the same data that was shown on the meter in version 11

The load meters in version 12 shows the system loading (CPU/GPU) for the whole computer.

The old version 11 meter showed the data processing rate in MB/s for the DVDFAB app. I realize this is the same data that is shown in text form on the first line of the output window. However, the meter allowed me to see at a glance if my task was processing at a normal rate, faster than usual, or slower. It was also easy to tell when the system was encountering read error as the rate would significantly drop off.

Just add my voice to this also. I would really like the GPU load indicator working again (like it was in v11). It really did help me find the most efficient (and fastest) way to set encoding. I have a large backlog of disks so having this back would be awesome.

Full disclosure: I have already contacted the DVDFab team separately with screenshots to highlight the issue. They responded quickly and politely as they always do and the Dev. team is aware of this issue.

Just on a lighter note... the most recent release v12.0.0.4 . . . the GPU load indicator is hard coded to 50%. I think that's a nice gesture and goes to show the Dev team is listening. :-)

Thanks Mona. The GPU usage is broken again the most recent release (v12.0.0.6). Could this PLEASE become a permanent test item for each release.
Honestly, it is becoming very frustrating. See screenshot below. GPU shows 1% all the time in DVDFab when actual GPU usage is more than 19%. Thanks!

Hello - this is still broken v12.0.1.2. Is there a factor of ten conversion error in DVDFab? for example: Windows reports DVDFab GPU usage as 31% but DVDFab reports 3%

Could the development team investigate? A fix for this would be really appreciated. Thanks

The GPU usage and refresh rate are different, it seldom refreshes on Windows 10.

                        Hi,

DVDFab display the GPU status of the whole GPU used, please check it with the free tool gpuz.

Windows 10 constantly updates GPU usage. It is easily observed. Not sure why this comment was made?

This will be my last post on this topic as I am clearly unable to alert the DVDFab team that there is an easily verifiable issue with the GPU Load reporting (which was a very usual feature when it worked back in version 11).

No other users here seem to care either . . .

Thanks again for all the responses. Merry Christmas.
