AV1 videos from YouTube cannot be read into DVDFab

    Hello everybody,

I'm having trouble to convert downloaded YouTube videos (via StreamFab) in DVDFab... The videos cannot be loaded into DVDFab, so that I have to convert them to H.264 with VLC at the moment. Other YT videos instead work like a charm.
    (here's a test link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bU4jJ9Fzp4k )

I found out, that all those videos, which cause this trouble, are using the AV1 codec. Isn't DVDFab cabable of reading AV1 videos?

I have to convert those videos, since the target device doesn't support AV1 video.

    Best regards!

select either the Full HD-1080p or the 144p under quality
and file will load into dvdfab. 240p, 360p & 720p seems to create a generic video output
that doesn't work for some reason.

It's not supported in DVDFab 12 at the moment, needs a ffmpeg update.
But you can give Toolkit a try: https://www.dvdfab.cn/toolkit.htm
