DVDfab 12.0.6.4: Cannot access Cinavia server

After updating to 12.0.6.4 when I use Ripper and open a cinavia protected disc I get this error message: An error occurred while accessing the Cinavia information from the server. Please check your network connection then try to reopen the disc.

I disabled my firewall but still get the error message.

We could not duplicate the accessing server issue, please provide the latest dvdfab_internal log file, I will get the developer check again, thank you.

The developer wants you to go to Start menu> click Start > click on "Run"> type "cmd"> click on OK, put in ping api2.dvdfab.cn -t, and then see what you can get.

Mona, attached is my log file. (I shutdown windows firewall and disabled all antivirus then re-ran DVDFab ripper and got the same error message)

            Also, I ran the ping api2.dvdfab.cn -t command and I get replies from 85.17.178.25: bytes=32 time=142ms TTL=52

Let me know what the developer finds...

try this - start dvdfab - click common settings - general settings - click the factory default settings button in
the lower left corner on the general settings area, restart dvdfab and retry removing cinavia again and see if you
              still get the server error.

Thx October - will give that a try.

Well, I did NOT make the changes October recommended because when I went back into DVDFab the cinavia error did NOT pop up. So I ran the ripper on a cinavia protected disc and DVDFab downloaded the required files and ripped the movie successfully.

Very weird as nothing changed on my side. I will keep an eye on this and add updates if the problem returns.
