Inserting disc/clicking + does not open disc. Nothing happens

DVDFab 12.0.7.1 - Ref: feedback #124144 with log files. Can't open disc so that the app can start to analyze the disc. Opening/closing drive does not trigger analysis, and selecting the + to add the disc via file explorer does nothing. The window just disappears and I'm left looking at the + option again. This has been happening after recent updates, though I'm unsure which version broke the process.

    Please advise.

Please do not selecting the + to add the disc, it should load the disc automatically.

Pleaes try to uninstalll and reinstall the latest version see if it work agian.

Open Common Settings>Drives>Drives , make sure you have choosen this drive in your drive list.

      Hello Maxxis,

Question: Perhaps you have the PassKey tool running in the background?

The error you describe happens to me too. If I exit PassKey and then restart DVDFab-64, the "Plus" works again.

      Kind regards JoJo

It seems your drive is not accessible, please restart your computer to try again and see the result.

jojoac007 That did the trick! Thanks!

@Mona's suggestion of restarting the machine was a basic step I tried that did not result in the fix.

This problem has recurred! I think there is a regression bug. I've restarted the PC, but it didn't resolve the issue. Also, Passkey is not running, so that's not the problem either. The log files show error codes when attempting to open the Blu-Ray discs in my two drives (G: & H. Please help! TIA!

I should mention that FabPlayer sees the discs in the drive, but won't play them. If I open the discs in VLC, they play fine!

              Please help! TIA!

Please install the 32-bit version of DVDFab 12 to have a try and see if it will make a difference: https://dl.dvdfab.cn/download/57_120...ab12_12074.exe

start dvdfab - click common settings - general settings - click the factory default settings button in the
lower left corner of the general settings area, restart dvdfab and retry the disc again to see if you still have trouble opening the disc.

I've been unable to use DVDFab since June. Had to take a break. After a delay, I was able to attempt the suggestions from october262 and @Mona. Both had no effect. I cleared the log file and re-ran all options, but the same repeating log entries for both drives continue to show up in the attached file:

So frustrating! What do those Error codes mean??

Other things I've done: Verify all system drivers are current, Windows update run, verified latest firmware in drives (both ASUS BW-16D1HT) and attempted multiple copies of DVDFab.

It started working after this happened, but not the behavior has returned. I tried the old and latest versions, both x32 and x64, and the discs won't get recognized. It's producing that same error as before! What is happening??
