    GPU Decoding/Encoding

I recently upgraded the gfx on my computer from a gtx1050ti to an rtx 3060 and having issues when backing up to h265 passthrough which I never previously had

on ripping an episode from bluray in h265 pasthrough it reports it will take nearly 4 hours to rip a 1 hour episode, it displays it is using cuda gpu acceleration for video decoding, but not for encoding, and reports it is using 100% cpu.

on dvd's if I try h265 passthrough format it never shows it will use cuda gpu and just uses cpu and again is showing 3-4 hours to process a 41 minute episode

for h264 passthrough it just copies everything using cpu

I never had this issue when running the 1050ti, I've updated all drivers and running 12.0.7.2 64 bit version,

Under A/V Codec I get the following

    Graphics Chipset :
Note: To enable Intel Quick Sync technology, you must switch to Intel HD Graphics.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Driver Version: 30.0.15.1215

    Supported Video Codecs :
    CUDA_MODE_H264
    CUDA_MODE_VC1
    CUDA_MODE_MPEG2
    CUDA_MODE_H265
    DXVA_MODE_H264
    DXVA_MODE_VC1
    DXVA_MODE_MPEG2

    CoreAVC : cannot be detected.

For Hardware info it is showing the below so would expect it to use the gfx card for decoding/encoding

does Decoding/Encoding work if you roll back to an earlier driver on the rtx 3060 ??

Confirmation using an older driver, which shows it is capable of decoding/encoding in H265/10bit, but dvdfab won't have it

do you have an older version of dvdfab 12 you could try
        or try with dvdfab 11 - https://www.dvdfab.cn/download.htm?ad=forum_nav
might want to post your dvdfab internal log files for the developers to look at.

retested under 12.0.7.2 and now showing cuda

so it looks like V11 must setup the system correctly

The developer needs the log files to help check the problem, please provide the dvdfab_internal log file and fabcheck_internal log file, thanks.
