size of subtitle too small

When I convert a mp4 file to mkv Passthrough, the french italicized subtitles are badly translated and are tiny.
This happens when the heroe sings in "The Nightmare Before Christmas", a movie downloaded from Dysney+ with remuxed subtitles in the downloaded video.
