During this period, support by chat and email will not be available but the forum will be here for any problems you may encounter. Purchases of new products and license renewals may be made normally on the DVDFab website. Thanks for your understanding and Happy New Year!
I have here a video made with AV1 but when I want to convert it to H265, DVDfab is telling me to check if the video is playable.
How fast can you add AV1 support to DVDfab ?
Apparently, AV1 was supported in version 12.0.7.6 Beta, which is still available for download. Although that was for encoding. I haven't played with it to see if it decodes.

The only program I've seen with AV1 NVENC support is ffmpeg. And wow it was nice and fast and high compression. On my 4090 was about 100fps on 4k and 550fps on 1080p AV1 gpu encoding.
But yes I'm with you. Please PLEASE give us gpu AV1 encoding support.
Now all we need is plex to enable AV1 playback. No matter the playback device, plex will NOT play av1 files. transcoding or not.
