Ripping works great ... until it doesn't

I am using DVDFab verison 12.0.9.7 to rip The X-Files. I was able to successfully rip season one, when I attempt to rip season 2 it starts to rip but then I immediately get the "rip successful" tone and success is beside that file that was allegedly just ripped. It then continues to the next file with the same results. However, these files are not in the target directory. This occurs with two different disks on two different computers, both running Windows 10. Of the eight episodes on the two disks only episode 1 of season two has been ripped.

Anybody know what is going on here and how I can remedy this situation?

try going into common settings - dvd - pathplayer - disable pathplayer - restart dvdfab and retry the discs again.

        That didn't resolve the issue.

are these dvd discs or Blu-ray discs ?? - leave pathplayer disabled and go baack into
common settings - dvd - dvd protection - uncheck cloud decryption service, restart dvdfab and retry the discs again
if ripping still fails, then you might post your dvdfab internal log files for the dvdfab staff to look at.

I spent the last couple days ripping season 10 and 11 (Blu-ray) and other DVDs that weren't part of the The X-Files series. I had no problem with any of them.

When I finished these, I attempted to rip Season 9, I ripped the first disk successfully with no issues but have similar issues with the second disk of season 9, I have not as of yet tried the disks from season 9. I have season 1 through 9 on DVD and 10 and 11 on Blu-ray.

I went into the C:\Users\My User Name\Documents\DVDFab\DVDFab12\Log\ folder there were no files. Do I need to enable logging somewhere?

Here is a link to a video of the showing my attempt to rip the second disk of season 9

are you able to do a full disc / main movie copy of the second disc of season 9 ??
go back into common settings - general settings - click the factory default settings button
in the bottom left corner of the general settings area to reset dvdfab back to default settings. restart dvdfab and then open the log folder and then see if the internal log folders are there.

No, that was disk 2 I was attempting to rip in the video.

I restored defaults and the issue persists.

Also still no files in the log directory.

did you change the install location for dvdfab ??
if you click the drop down arrow in the upper right hand corner of the dvdfab interface then click (open log folder) do the logs not show ??
perhaps try doing a clean uninstall of dvdfab and don't save any settings or folders.
