I’m using a Windows 11 Pro PC with an12th Gen Intel i5-12400 processor using the inbuilt IntelGraphic730 hardware.
I’m found that DVDFab (x64) 12.1.1.2 will fail to rip large number of BluRay DVD’s if I using the following two profiles, (MP4.H265.10bit) or (MKV.H265.10bit) and when Remux into file - VobSub Subtitle is set under advance settings.
Note: This does NOT happen every time, but I notice that it happens about a third of the time when ripping BluRay DVD’s.
The following BluRays have this problem Memento (2000), Mulholland Dr. (2001), About a Boy (2002), Curse of the Golden Flower (2006), Ratatouille (2007), Passengers(2016) , The Girl on the Train (2016) and Kandahar (2023), plus many others.
I’ve included all the log files and screen shots of both Passengers (2016), Ratatouille (2007) that fail to rip unless I change advance settings to Direct Render or use 2-Pass Encoding. I also included GreatestShowman (2017) which will rip successfully when Remux turned on it advance settings.
When in BluRay DVD is processed when using the H265 encoder and it states
using the Intel h265 GPU acceleration for Lighting-Shink is enabled but no GPU load or GPU Memory use are displayed it will Fail or Pass, but when it states that it is using Intel GPU acceleration for video decoding enabled and Intel GPU acceleration for video h265 encoding enabled, then it will Rip BluRay DVD’s successfully.
Has anyone else seen this problem and have a true fix for it?
