13.0.0.2 - so far this problem seems to be mostly fixed. The remaining problem is quite minor, but I will detail it here anyway.
USUALLY, when first clicking anywhere on the title name field to edit it, the entire current title name is highlighted (this is what is expected). However, SOMETIMES when clicking on the existing title with the mouse pointed somewhere in the middle of the text, only the point from the pointer back to the beginning of the title is highlighted, so to replace the entire title name, one must manually select the entire thing before typing.
Like I said, this is relatively minor considering that it does not always happen, but it would still be good to sort out the problem and fix it all.

DVDFab 13 UI Sucks - Editing Output File Names Now Very Painful
Editing the output file names for DVDFab 13 Copy and Ripper has become VERY painful and difficult. You have to be super careful about where you move the cursor if you want to select part of the existing text, and if you want to edit something, you can only do ONE character at a time!!!!!
With 12, when you first clicked on the output file name, it highlighted the whole field (very common behavior), and if you wanted to select only part of the text, it was easy to do that with the mouse; after you highlighted something, it didn't really matter if you left the cursor outside of the text box or not, it stayed highlighted and you could replace it by typing anything.
With 13, when you click on the name field, nothing is highlighted, it just goes into editing mode where you clicked. But then, as soon as you type or delete the first character, the cursor jumps to the END OF THE FIELD! So you have to re-position the cursor just to type one more character!
With 13, If you want to select part of the name field for editing, deletion, etc., you must be VERY careful to NOT let the cursor stray outside of the name box when you release the mouse button, or else nothing you selected remains selected! This is a nightmare.Tags: None
