13.0.0.4 Ripper Does not set/Change Video Quality Correctly

When I am setting up Ripper tasks, the last used Video Quality is always applied to the new tasks being added. This is usually what I want, but sometimes I select multiple titles from the same disc, and then want to change the video quality of some, but not all, of the tasks. In this example, I selected two titles, and they were both added as (Standard) quality.

I then changed the Video Quality of the second title to (Fast) using the drop-down pick list below the Profile. I did NOT use the Advanced Settings to do this.

I cannot show this with a screen print, but in v13, when you either select or just hover over a specific title on the Ripper task setup screen, the Video Quality set for that specific task is automatically displayed below the profile. In the first screen print above, I had selected the first task, and you can see that it shows that the Video Quality is supposedly set to "Standard".

In the second screen print, I have selected the "making of" title, and you can see that the screen shows that the Video Quality will be "Fast Speed". Now the problem I am reporting is shown if I select Advanced Settings for the first title:

In the screen print above, the Advanced Settings screen is on top of the Ripper tasks, but you can still see in the window below it the "591 MB (Standard)", which shows that I am looking at the Advanced Settings for the first title, and this is confirmed by looking at the Advanced settings window and seeing the Output Size is shown as 592. But here is the problem - the Advanced Settings also shows that the Video Quality selected is "FAST SPEED", NOT Standard! If I do not make any changes here, I can open and close that screen as much as I want and the displayed settings for the task remain as Standard, but the Advanced Settings still show Fast. This should never happen.

I also need to point out that in the Advanced Settings screenshot above, there are MORE problems with incorrect information. Although it SHOWS that it will use "Fast Speed", the Bit Rate shown of 1064 is way too high for Fast; 1064 is actually what is used for Standard with this video. BUT, the Bits/Pixel slide bar just below that is positioned way to the left, which actually corresponds to a lower Bit Rate of 532 Kbps. So even from the Advanced Settings screen, there is no way to actually know what Video Quality is really being used!

And yes, I do see that the "Apply to all" box is checked on the top of the Advanced Settings screen, but I DID NOT DO THAT - this is simply the default setting. Remember, I did not use the Advanced Settings screen at all to make changes to the Video Quality of these tasks, so I had no way of knowing that check box even existed.

So the real problem seems to be that when I changed the Video Quality for the second task from the Task Setup screen, the program did apply it to all tasks on that disc, but it DOES NOT CORRECTLY SHOW THAT. What is even worse is that if I use the Advanced Settings screen to change it back to Standard for the first task and leave the apply to all checked, when I close the Advanced Settings window, the second task is STILL shown as Fast Speed (and now that one is incorrect).

You need to make sure that the displayed Video Quality in the Ripper task setup screen ALWAYS displays the correct Video Quality actually set in the Advanced Settings for every title when it is selected. Then, if a change to the setting is Applied to all, we can see that without having to manually check the Advanced Settings for every task and title.

This is not new with v13 - I saw it often in v12 too, but I just could not pin down the facts to report it.
