DVD rips video but not audio

When I rip a blu ray there is no sound. The audio is fine

You need to provide more info. Assuming you are in DVDFab, what settings are you using? What output have you specified? When you say the audio is fine, I assume you are saying the blu-ray disc plays back audio ok?

Oops I typoed. I typed "audio" but I meant "video".I am using the "rip to theater" option

Are you using version 13? When the program brings up the dialog box after it has seen the disc, what video, audio & subtitle selections do you make in the dialog box? What program are you using to test/play the output from DVDFab?

Yes - then you get a dialog box to make settings (see attached). What did you choose for output (see drop-down upper right starting with mp4 in image).
What did you choose for audio - see drop down center of box starting with "EN AC3 . . ).
