All episodes combined into one file

I don't know if I am posting this in the right location, I can't find anywhere better.

I have at least three DVD sets (season 1 of Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles, season 1 of In the Heat of the Night and Masters of the Air) where all files / videos are combined into one file / video. IE season one of In the Heat of the Night has eight episodes one two disks - 4 episodes each, however all four are combined in to one file. Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Masters of the Air are similar.

Other than ripping as is and using video editing software, is their a way to separate these files?

Are you using the Ripper or Copy module?

If all 4 episodes are in the same title, you can set the chapter range to split them.

Yes all episodes are all included in a single title.

For clarification, I would have to run a separate task for each episode?

You can copy the source, and then select chapter ranges for each source.
