Problem with the profile MKV Passthrough - Audio out of Sync

    Hello!

I have ripped the films Avatar 1 and Avatar 2, both 4K UHD Blu-rays, with the MKV Passtrough profile. With both MKVs, a synchronisation problem between audio and film occurs after about half of the films. At first only for about half a second and then 2 to 3 seconds at the end of the film.
    Is this a known problem?

If I use the MP4 Passthrough profile, this problem does NOT occur.

    I use DVDFab 13.0.3.9, 64 Bit.

    Regards, Dieter

    Hi Dieter
I have also had this problem with the first Avatar movie when it was originally released on bluray. It occurred using ripper and copy mode
you will find the lip sync problem begins at the start of the movie and progresses to go further out of sync at the same rate until the end of the movie. It does become more noticeable as the movie progresses. the keener the eye and ear the sooner it is noticed. I have tried unsuccessfully to remedy this and at first thought it was my computer. I ended by giving up and using the disc when watching the movie.

try going into common settings - avcodec - slect disable all gpu codecs for encoding & decoding (everything will switch to software)
restart dvdfab and retry your discs with MKV Pasthrough again and see if that works.

But giving up is not a solution, is it?

          I already use these settings!

I have already ripped ‘Escape from New York’ 4K UHD and ‘The Name of Rose’ 4K UHD with these settings in the past. No problems.

Thank you for posting, I will get the developers to look into the sync issue.
