Netflix will not sign in while VPN is active

I am trying to VPN into Canada from the states as they have the spider-man movies and we do not but when ever I try it the password and log in will not work and I can't get into my Netflix account. I could have sworn I did this a few weeks ago but i am not having any luck as of late.

I had this happen a few days ago with the GB site. I had to login using the US site and then connect to vpn and refresh a few times to get UK content. It’s like the new password sharing block is acting like different geo logins are different accounts.
