Why do I have to wait for my forum posts to be approved. I replied to one 2 days ago and its waiting approval.

You are not showing up as a "Member." If you are in fact a Member, contact Mona and she'll research it and throw the switch so you'll get immediate message posting approval.

I don't think you can post unless you sign up to the forum, he has to be a member.

This forum, like most others, requires the first 3 or so posts from new users to be approved by a mod before full membership is granted, allowing the user to freely post. I believe it's for spam control.

'Dog' is pretty close....you become a member automatically after so many posts if you made a post on the forum as noted, you had to already signed up to be a member to even make a single post. I have always wondered about the no titles and some titles under the avatar and found nothing in reference to when you become a member, a junior member and a full-blown member on the forum. But this link explains somewhat to why this happens as it was not the case in the beginning of this forum and had to be enforced/policed because of knuckle heads.

I wrote what I wrote above because that's what happened to me. I was up to about 30 posts or so and I questioned Mona why my messages all started out "unapproved." She wrote back that she looked into it and for some unknown reason I was not showing up as a "Member" implying in a way that I should have been listed as one already. I then looked at my avatar and it showed "Member" (although my joined date went from Nov 2021 to Jan 2022 for some reason.)

Good posting your experience, every bit/post helps that makes a difference in the struggle.

To clarify, the titles/no title under the avatar can be explained here posted by signals: https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/softwa...411#post406411 , the link was provided in #5, thank you to Down2Earth.

For new forum members, if you signed up using an email address associated with the product license, you are a Registered User, the first 5 new posts will not require approval by the Mods, otherwise, you will be New Member, and post-approval is needed. However, this is not associated with the title under the avatar.

To those who have a problem with the post-approval, please send me a PM, I will check, thank you.

I've been using dvdfab software for 3+ years and all my posts here are still being flagged for approval. I registered on the forum using a different email address than my registered software email address. I think that may be the problem. I've asked Mona to look into it.

I'm going off-topic but I don't care. I'm so glad to see you back here posting, Chameleon. I'm so sorry that we had that misunderstanding. In the future, if there is anything you don't understand because of language or cultural differences, please ask and I promise that myself or someone else will try to make it more understandable to you. Welcome back!
