I got the same results. Officially National Geographic isn't a supported streaming service (yet). See supported MPD list at https://www.dvdfab.cn/drm-mpd-downloader.htm

Silly me -- National Geographic is part of Disney. I don't know if the Narco Wars episode you listed is on Disney+ because I don't subscribe to it. It is on Hulu, which I have, but I was not able to download that episode as I received the same error you did. I had no problem downloading other NatGeo shows. So, I have a feeling that particular episode is bad.
