    Other 3rd Party Windows Media Player

    I hope this is in the proper forum. Lately every time I put a dvd in my optical drive windows media player loads and screws things up. I already have my optical drives auto play set to do nothing when a movie is inserted. It's driving me mad. My next step might be to uninstall media player. Any suggestions on this?

    Do you have autoplay set to "Take No Action" in the OS? That should fix your issue. Attachment:

      Yes I do but media player has the options but the only choice there is "Open media player when disc inserted" I can't change that one.
