    Confused about Unifab All-in-one...

    Hi,

I purchased the all-in-one UniFab package. I needed features from the Media toolkit so I found and downloaded it. The toolkit is part of Unifab if I'm to believe the UniFab website. Yet when I installed the Media Toolkit and linked it to my account it says I need to pay MORE for the "all-in-one" that I already have to use the toolkit. Huh?!

The sales pitch to buy the All-in-One product suite packages imply that I'm covered for the product's future. But it acts like a bait switch where the feature border lines keep moving around and I keep getting charged for them. If I say I would buy the Toolkit with the all-in-one selection it sends me to the same page that I did purchase the UniFab all-in-one. I would have to spend another $270 to get what I already spent the money. Very confusing. I don't want to double pay for things.

My lifetime DVDFab All-in-one has the same behavior. It was suppose to include anything added to it but they still they want me to pay more to get the NVidia HDR add-on (which kinda sucks
compared to the UniFab's up-scaler...it looks like a zoomed image with HDR added...Useless.)

This all feels feels sketchy where the rules keep changing.

Can anyone explain how this all works for real?

I don't see anything that indicates that "Toolkit" comes with "UniFab", but maybe I just missed it.
You might try posting in the new UniFab forum here: https://community.unifab.ai/

      Thanks for replying!

      >I don't see anything that indicates that "Toolkit" comes with "UniFab",

      Like I said, it's confusing. Here's why...

If you go to this web page for the Video Toolkit:

As an audio/video converter and editor, Toolkit offers 20+ tools to convert, flip, rotate, or crop videos, as well as convert audios, make GIF from videos, etc.

Then click on the Buy button you're presented with three options to purchase: 1 year license, lifetime license (same price as 1 year?) and the All in One.

If you click on the "All in One" option you get the same UniFab All-in-One that I already purchased.
It's all under the Unifab product label. The boundaries between the feature collections are not really defined in a clear way.

      >You might try posting in the new UniFab forum here: https://community.unifab.ai/

That forum is pretty much empty of posts. All the action appears to happen in the DvdFab forum which, of course, contains this very UniFab topic.

I poked around a bit looking at these 2 products (Unifab vs. Toolkit) & there seems to be overlap except the Unifab product always indicates AI driven features. What tool are you seeing in Toolkit that is not part of the Unifab product you purchased?

          Hi,

          >What tool are you seeing in Toolkit that is not part of the Unifab product you purchased?

I tried to use the Merge Tool. It would only merge the first couple minutes of each file unless I purchased the product.
When I choose the purchase option seen when I launched ToolKit64 I get sent to the following URL (I trimmed out the excess suffix parts that have personal info):

As an audio/video converter and editor, Toolkit offers 20+ tools to convert, flip, rotate, or crop videos, as well as convert audios, make GIF from videos, etc.

The toolkit URL is literally part of the Unifab.ai domain. The web page I get has three options to purchase: 1-year license, Lifetime license, and All-in-One. If I select All-in-One I get the same page that I used to purchase the Unifab All-in-One page for the AI stuff. So it stands to reason that the toolkit is part of All-in-One and I would be paying twice for the same all-in-one I already bought.

Yet I can't use the Toolkit freely. This is my confusion. Most of what is done in toolkit can be done with the free ffmpeg but the toolkit is more convenient. But it's not nearly $499 more convenient.

Could you (or someone from the DvdFab company) please clarify the situation
