    No YouTube Videos anymore?

    Hi all,

since a few days, I can not download anything from the normal YouTube.
Error message says: "Analyzing failed. YouTube said: Unable to extract video data".

    Example URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgFBEiTr9CU

Uninstalled DVDFab Downloader, removed all remaining files in %appdata% and reinstalled it, but same problem as before.

    See Logfile for further details.

    best regards,
    Marc

Same problem for me - all attempts to download YouTube videos produce "No video formats found" error. Also having a similar problem with some BBC iPlayer shows too.

          Re-Tested.

          Working: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSYm6diP0QU
          Not Working: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60tyjz_EHjU, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtD5nGoNMu8

          Funny.

            for both links - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60tyjz_EHjU & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtD5nGoNMu8
copy & paste them into the home page search bar & hit the go button to download the videos.

The problem with YouTube seemed to be caused by having to agree to their cookie policy before it would allow me to download any videos. Having agreed to cookies using DVDFab Downloader's built-in browser, I am now able to successfully download videos.

I am still unable to download the following from BBC iPlayer: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...-story-of-1980. DVD Fab D/L reports that no video formats are found. Other episodes in the series download without problem.

Thank you for the update. Glad it works now.
Meanwhile, I have passed the log file and the issue to our developer.

                BBC iPlayer is not supported.

                  Hello,

I have the same problem, when trying to download a YouTube video I always get the error message "Sorry, video analysis failed". I have read the above thread and gone to my Google account and 1) specifically allowed cookies to be accepted from YouTube.com, and 2) when into the Chrome browser and allowed cookies from all sites. Neither helped. Am I missing something re: allowing cookies?

                  Thanks

                  Norm

this link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCAhIkP7s8E works if i paste it into downloader home page search bar and press go.
might try agreeing to youtube's cookie policy as described in post #7 of this thread.

Based on your advice, I uninstalled Downloader completely and reinstalled and registered it, problem solved! No more error messages, thank you!!
