    Watermarks in Streams

The streams of some providers contain a watermark that can be used to determine the user ID.
Question: Does the re-encoding remove this watermark?

No, it won't remove the watermark.

I've never seen that. Can you give an example?

In my case I use it little and for my own private use.

I can only speak for me. All of mine reside on my personal Plex for my own use for when I have time to watch. I don't care if they watermark it as long as I can still watch it.

What watermark? Is it visible only on certain conditions cause having a constant watermark throughout the movie would be annoying.

it is an invisible watermark located somewhere in the file. Based on this watermark, the rights holder could determine which user downloaded and published this movie, and then hold him accountable.
If you only use movies privately and do not share them, you have nothing to worry about.
However, distribution on the Internet should be avoided at all costs.
