Version 5.0.5.0 and HBO Max seems to be back to 4K.

Today, for me at least, House of the Dragon ep1 and ep2 both came in at 4k EAC3. I have not tried any other HBO content today.

I downloaded those two episodes in 4K, too, but nothing else. Game of Thrones is recognized as having 2160p but only 720p comes down and Industry is recognized for having 1080p but only 720p comes down. Looks like progress, though.

I wonder if House of dragon was encoded prior to the DRM change.

Episode 3 of House of the Dragon would not download in 2160p but did download at 1080p. Something odd about this one show.

Just tried episode 3 - it only downloads at 720p for me. Maybe it's a timing window after the episode is broadcast on HBO where you can d/l in 2160p.
