Attention STAFF: - PLUTO - DOES NOT work properly.

I'm still having a problem downloading from Pluto. This has been going on for the past 5 or more releases. I don't remember which release notes said Pluto was fixed (it was many releases ago) but it never worked properly after that.

I am able to download, but only 1 tp 4 videos at a time. It is always random how many download until it fails and completely stops any further downloads.

There have been other users that reported audio sync issues as well. I had that problem in the past and it sometimes happens to me now.

Here are two series, each with well over 300 episodes each that have been a problem.

Drop in. It’s free. Watch 250+ channels of free TV and 1000s of on-demand movies and TV shows.

I downloaded Judge Judy months ago, but the first time, only half the episodes were watchable. The audio was out of sync on the others so I deleted those and added them to the download list again. The next time I had lots of out of sync episodes again. Deleted those and tried again. I kept repeating the process until I had all of season 1. I still haven't bothered finishing season 2 because it is too time consuming manually checking each episode. Also, there were a lot of episodes where the subtitles were a 1kb file (when they should be 40-60kb) or it didn't download at all.

Today, I tried downloading Hollywood Squares. Only one episode download before the entire process stopped. The episode played fine but no subtitle was downloaded with it even though the subtitle option was selected.

In the past months I have only seen a couple of threads about Pluto not working for others but there has not been any follow up.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could look into the issues above and have someone report back here with a time frame for a fully working Pluto release.

    Thank You!

I'm not experiencing audio sync issues, and while my downloads aren't failing the way yours are, I also can't get any subtitles to embed in episodes of 48 Hours or Forensic Files - and yup, they are available and the download menu has that option.

I am also experiencing audio sync issues. In fact it's almost comical, they are talking but their mouths don't say what the words do.

Is everything in Pluto 480p for all of you, or just me?

Does that mean you can download from your list without interruption and all files play perfectly?

My Pluto subtitles are never embedded, they are always (when they actually download) a separate.srt file.

go into streamfab settings - vip services - subtitle format - check that it is set to "Remux into file" you may have it set to extract to srt file.

I have the same issues. Three's Company the video was choppy. I reripped in Handbrake and it fixed the video choppiness but the audio sync was way off. Reripped with different audio setting and it is close but still off.

I can download without issue, and the files do play without hesitation with synced audio, but none have subtitles even though my setting is "remux into file."
As october262 said, you're probably gettng a separate file because that's not your setting.

Everything's in 480p for me - I thought it was just because I've been downloading content from 2009, but maybe everything's in really low SD quality?

Or....I am getting a separate file because... that's what I want.

I get some episodes of the same show in 720p and some in 480p. The picture doesn't look that different when compared though.

480p is an old DVD resolution and looks horrible on LGC2 65 OLED. I can't use this module anymore. Thank you artsunlimited.

I'll just bet it does! It's watchable on a laptop, though.

The sync issue is known. The developer will check as soon as possible.

I live in a frat house on Campus. I teach and take classes. TV (sometimes) is the only thing that keeps my mind off work and school. We have a "Great room" for the TV and all people that live in our house have access to the great room where the TV resides. I am usually the one who makes movie night fun, everyone puts up a movie they would like to see and I make it happen. For instance last Friday night we had about 20 guys and gals in the room for "Tombstone" A great American western, Val Kilmers greatest role. Kurt Russel, Sam Elliot. A star-studded cast and a wonderful movie, thank goodness I had it in 1080p, another guy had a copy on a USB stick in 480p, the difference was astronomical.
