    StreamFab for Windows Added Support?

    If I'm wrong for saying this then please me but instead of doing added support for the following

    - New: Added support to download videos from the ADN DE (https://animationdigitalnetwork.de/) website.
    - New: Added support to download videos from the Amadeus (http://www.amadeus.tv/) website.
    - New: Added support to download videos from the asobichannel (https://asobichannel.asobistore.jp/) website.
    - New: Added support to download videos from the ccma (https://www.ccma.cat/3cat) website in 1080p.
    - New: Some improvements on downloading music from Archive Org (https://archive.org).
    - New: Some improvements on downloading videos from ARD (https://www.ardmediathek.de/).
    - New: Some improvements on downloading videos from Bilibili (https://bilibili.com/).
    - New: Some improvements on downloading videos from Bilibili TV (https://www.bilibili.tv/).

    How about they work on the netflix issues. Once they fix that then you can add support to the other websites.
    It just makes no sense to me to add support to other websites when you haven't fixed others first. I really don't
    understand this. Again, Please tell me if I'm thinking wrong. I'm not trying a be an ass or jerk but I feel like
    tings are being done backwards right now.​

    Hi,

    To add the new features, but not means that the DRM problem is stopped.

    We have a large dev team, someone working for the DRM, someone working the other features.

    For the DRM problem, it's still in working, but it can be fixed and restore back to real download mode for Netflix/Amazon.

        I hate to be picky about words, but in this case they have important implications. I read the sentence above as stating you have a dev team consisting of 2 people, which seems inconsistent with describing it as a "large" dev team. Or did you mean to write "We have a large dev team, some working for the DRM, some working the other features."?

          It takes 20 minutes to install a new CDM. The problem is obvious, you don't have one to install.

            Wilson, I assume English is not your primary language, what you have typed is not very clear.

            Does that mean:

            1. you are still working on it, but think you'll be able to fix it eventually, and get us back to real download on Netflix and Amazon

            OR

            2. that you have a fix and will change back to real download on Netflix and Amazon soon?

            Do you have an estimate on how much longer it will be until this is fixed?

              he doesn't really say that the problem has been fixed yet​​

                Do I understand correctly that the DRM problem will actually be solved soon?

                It would be great if the download mode for Amazon/Netflix would finally work normally again.

                The fact that another small update with a bug fix has already been released today gives me hope that there will now be more frequent updates again.

                The developers are also welcome to release a beta version of the program as soon as the download mode is working again.​

                  What Wilson says is what Wilson says. You generally don't hire a plumber to fix wiring issues in your house. What it sounds like people are asking here is to get the plumber working on solving the electrical issues too.
                  I know it is frustrating. Asking "how much longer" is the same as asking the safe cracker how many more attempts do they need before they can open the vault. If they knew the answer was 12, they would say it.

                    If he can't do it in 2 hours he can't do it at all, it's not brain surgery or rocket science, getting the new CDM to replace the bad one is nothing a high school hacker couldn't do. The issue is getting the CDM.

                      According to this, the above is simply the result of StreamFab updating to the latest version of ytdl.exe (renamed YouTubeToMP3Process.exe in StreamFab).

                      You all fall into the same trap, as I did early on. Wilson, in his poor English, says just enough to get everyone's imagination working and suddenly everyone thinks the DRM fix is eminent. I've seen it all before, and now you will. Going over everything, I could be here for hours, posting examples. Rather than that, here are just two so that you get the idea.

                      BTW, I was never sent that test version. I can't blame Wilson for always lying. The one developer is constantly lying to him, and Wilson just passes it on in very poor English. That's when everyone reads into what he writes what they want to see written. In retrospect, it probably would have been better for Wilson to write it all out in Chinese, and then I could use Google Translate to see what he actually meant. I've asked repeatedly that a woman named Erika from Marketing, who is fluent in English, should be used as a translator/spokesperson here on the forum or simply with Jack and I (when I was a Moderator) so that we could get a true full picture of the status of StreamFab. It never happened and is a major reason why I stepped down from being a Moderator. In the meantime, Erika continues to send out emails from Marketing to unsuspecting potential customers telling them how wonderful Amazon and Netflix works in 1080p and 4k.

                        Currently, both CDMs (2557 & 2710) are updated every time StreamFab starts, if not found. The CDMs are not the problem. It is the lack of the DRM keys for each streamer from the latest CDM.

                          I think what Wilson was trying to say was "the DRM issue is still being work on, but it is fixable, and hope to bring back Amazon/Netflix full download soon".

                            In message #12 I mistakenly posted a conversation where I posted Jack's name. Sorry, Jack. He rightfully deleted that screenshot. Here it is again, minus his name and extremely poorly edited. I downloaded an Android photo editor real quick because I was on my Chromebook and I wanted to fix it before my editing time expired. Didn't happen, so here it is anyway. This truly does not represent my photo editing ability. I have no idea what all those scratchings are, it was supposed to simply remove his name and avatar. Uninstalling AI Retouch, never to be used again.
