StreamFab General Query Is the removal of Netflix and Amazon really temporary?

    DVDFab Staff

As a loyal customer and user of FAB products over the past many years, including the sunset DRM Remover for iOS app, and I can't help but be frustrated by the handling of StreamFab for Android.

I purchased it for its ability to download from Amazon and Netflix. That had been broken for a long time. Its been well over a year since the last update (end of July 2023), with no word of what was happening.

On September 20, 2024 we finally get an updated version, and it REMOVES downloading from Amazon, Netflix, U-Next, Fanza, YT Music, Twitter.

The post with the change log https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/stream...tember-20-2024

Notice: The download feature of Amazon, Netflix and other streaming services has been temporarily removed in this version.
New: Some improvements for the video download engine.
BUT Fab has also remove mention of those streaming services from the Streamfab Android web page -> https://www.dvdfab.cn/streamfab-for-...enu2,headmenu2 In the past, FAB has rarely, if ever updated the web page, unless the change to the app was permanent.

So be honest. Is this really a temporary change? Will these services be coming back? or are they gone for good?

Yes, I also hope that it's a temporary solution. But we will add back again if we find a good way for downloading the video from streaming services.
