Downloader unable to d/l from YouTube US via VPN

I'm based in the UK. I've found some tracks on YouTube that are unavailable in my country, however if I set my VPN to US, they play fine via YouTube.

BUT when I try to d/l via Downloader it tells me t can't and the d/ls fail.

For example https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...ypZw1GzO0eG0sw

I'm still able to play the tracks from YouTube.

SO, is there something I have to do to tell Downloader to use my VPN?

might try using a proxy setting
click the settings in the upper right hand corner - click network - click use proxy.
