    Disney+ video not parsing issue

I, like most people had issues with even being able to start Disney+ downloads with the last few versions of DRM Downloader. Once I upgraded to the new 64bit version 3.0.1.8, everything started working again, or at least so I thought. I have included the DRMDownloader log file so that hopefully someone can help pinpoint what is going on. The issue is as follows: I set the last two newest episodes of Wandavision to download. I had the 2x speed button checked. The 1st episode finished fine and appeared in my download folder. The 2nd, or the newest episode, (episode 8) played all the way through, but when it got to the end of the video, the hourglass in the top left corner was still spinning and it was saying downloading. I left this going for over 30 more minutes and it still said downloading. I checked the task queue and it said one finished (the previous episode), and one downloading, which is the one it was still supposedly downloading. So I cancelled the current download, and exited DRMDownloader. I did check my Outputtemp folder and it had 3 files in it, one mp4 file with a long character name, and two srt files, one matching the same name as the mp4 file and one not. So it may have downloaded the video and subtitle but didn't parse the video for some reason at the end (maybe DRMDownloader didn't know when the video ended?).

So I then went back in to Disney+ again and tried downloading the newest episode with the 2x speed off, just to see if that was the issue. However, it still did the same thing, even after waiting another 30 minutes after the video ended to see if the task queue would say complete, but it never did. It just kept say downloading in the top left corner and nothing finalized. So I had to cancel and exit the program again. If anyone has any insight into why this happening, it would be greatly appreciated. I have not tried downloading anything else at this point, so I am not sure if it affects multiple videos or just this particular one.

Actually an update to this. I think it may be a DRMDownloader issue and not Disney+. I went into the outputTemp folder mentioned above and tried playing the mp4 video that was in there. It was the episode that didn't finish mentioned above. The entire 8th episode played correctly, however there were no subtitles, as I'm assuming the subtitle file is the srt file with the same name in the temp folder. So I think DRMDownloader didn't parse the mp4 and subtitle files together and save it to my download folder. Something caused the program to keep it in the temp folder and not output it to my completed downloads folder. So there still is an issue as I have no subtitles on this video and the name of the video is a really long random character, but the video did complete downloading, DRMDownloader just didn't finish packaging it. So the issue still persists, but wanted to add this information I discovered. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I had Disney+ issues with 3.0.1.7 and when it updated to 3.0.1.8 however it was the 32 bit version that was having an issue. I removed the 32 bit version and performed a new install of the 64 bit version and the issues I have seen with Disney+ that were visible since I believe 3.0.1.5 or 6 were resolved. See if that helps on your end.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will try and see if that helps. Thanks. I will let you know.

I'm seeing something very similar, except after it reaches the point of hanging when I click cancel, the title that was allegedly downloading then issues remuxing messages and the download actually then completes and appears in the outout directory. At this point I can click "download now" again and it goes on to the next one. But otherwise the same thing is happening, in that it gets to the end of the title and stays in downloading state "forever" until you intervene, the Disney app is usually showing the Portuguese credits at this point.

As for 32 v 64 the program doesn't say which veriant it is running in "About", the only version I have lives in the Program Files (x86) directory and both the download program name, or installer gives no clues or choices - what am I missing?

You're running the 32 bit version as the 64 bit version is installed in the following location: "C:\Program Files\DVDFab Downloader\DVDFab Downloader64.exe". The location you mention is for the 32 bit version of the application aka Program Files (x86). Try the following link for the 64 bit version: https://www.dvdfab.cn/mlink/download...Downloader_x64

I uninstalled and re-installed version 3.0.1.8 WITHOUT keeping my existing settings. I had previously re-installed but kept my original settings, and it still didn't work. It seems to work now after a fresh install, thanks fvigo!

awesome, glad it worked, take screenshots of your settings for future in the event that you need to remove and reinstall.

I was having downloads that reported success, but upon playback, it would get to 1hr 13 min, and the video would stop, with the remaining of the file being unplayable. Watching a 2x download, I saw error 83 in the Disney+ playback window at that 1hr 13 min mark.

After uninstalling the 32bit and 64bit DRM Downloaders (and opting to not save profile/settings), then fresh install of 64bit 3.0.1.9, and clearing the LOG and TEMP folders... My Disney+ issues seem to be gone.

First download since doing that works. The file is the entire movie all the way to the end of the closing credits and plays without issues.

I have a few movies queued up for download over night, so I'll see how that goes.
