Amazon - Jack Ryan series.
Either subtitles is on all the time, or no subtitles at all regardless of subtitle choice options within the dvd downloader program.
Any Ideas how to capture forced subtitles?

Assume this is the tv show you are working with, not the theatrical movies. ? If other than English, please list the main language and a few of the season and episode numbers where you have noticed this.

Please check image attached below, we set it to output to srt file.
Below is the subtitle option we picked, and the output file only contains forced subtitles for playback. Please check if that is what you need. Thanks.

Ok.. just tired your settings.. no force captioning at all. When someone speaks something other than English, no forced CC appears.
Same episode your are showing above. Not srt file was downloaded either.

Ok..I'm now running version 3.1.0.6 (not x64).
Just tried Jack ryan again.. season 2 episode 1 (the one I test with), and there is no closed captioning when they speak Spanish. ( for example 26.00 mark)
I've set audio to eng forced narrative and CC english at the bottom off, and still no CC forced... also, in case it matters, there are no srt files created in case you are creating a separate file for CC text.

Can you tell me what the heck else I can do?

Hello, latest version of downloader installed. No forced CC still with jack ryan...
This is the setting I used for Ep1 season 2.
Whenever they speak spanish, no english subtitles appear
I cannot duplicate your screen shot you showed a few weeks back
Please.. any ideas?

Have you enabled the subtitles in your video player?

Just tried that episode of Jack Ryan in VLC and the forced subtitle works fine there.

BTW... The default windows movie player does not support subtitles at all within MP4 format as far as I am aware.

I do use windows media play as a test before moving the file to my EMBY library. hmmm.. will try a few other things..
