To confirm, the series contain forced subtitles, but you do not have the force subtitle option for choosing before you click Download, or that you have picked the force subtitle option, but the forced subtitles are not created in the output?

I have meanwhile passed the log file to the QA team.

They aren't being downloaded in Netflix either. I cannot find the Forced Subtitle option in settings. All I have found is a Remux or separate file option and a language option. Am I missing something?

Hi Mona, good to hear from U.
The series contains normally subtitles. I could choose it as usually before adding it to download.
I choose the option to create the subtitles as seperate "SRT File"
The File for the normal subtitle will be created but the forced subtitle not.

        regards
        STonY

I noticed in the latest version of StreamFab that forced subtitles don't work, I have tried downloading first episode of cobra kai, when Johnny is in the shop ordering a pizza on other downloading programs it will download the forced subtitles of 2 people talking in I think Spanish but StreamFab refuses to do anything, bit of a disappointment as all settings are correct, cost me around £250 to get lifetime software.

Mona, I contacted someone from support and they said they will address the issue, as I don't have access to the log file, but as I am not the only person that is having the problem it is a global thing that there is a glitch that any forced subtitles is being ignored.

It's a design issue with how TV Episodes are handled and the problem has been around for a long time. I posted a workaround many months ago as a reply to another user and an issue with Amazon after 5.0.5.2 was released (which broke my workaround).

                Workaround here: https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/softwa...605#post405605

Issue with Amazon settings here: https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/softwa...ons#post415727

I've never gotten a response from any moderator on these.

The problem is that StreamFab only seems to sample only 1 episode for settings. If the episode you want to download has different settings, those options will not be available to you. The UI needs to be redesigned to allow you to choose options for each and every episode.

The problem extends to Video and Audio settings as well. If the sampled episode is only 480p all episodes could be limited to 480p even if they have a better quality.

I'm currently using 5.0.5.1 for Amazon TV Series and 5.0.5.6 for Netflix TV Series. Still using the workaround to get StreamFab to pull the settings for a specific episode.

Hope this helps. P.S. I've only used Chrome for previewing. Not sure if other browser would work.

                  Open StreamFab.....

                  Open "Settings".....

                  Click on "VIP Services".....

Scroll the popup window all the way down.....

Make sure the box next to "Always download the forced subtitle" is checked.....

Assuming there are any present to be downloaded..... that should give you the forced subtitles you're desiring.....

For your reference..... there's a screenshot attached.

I have noticed depending on your video playing software, you need to make sure show subtitles is ticked, I use PotPlayer and I had to do that then it showed the subtitles, it was strange as another downloading software I use must copy it differently as didn't need to do that but it is not fixed.

Thanks for your post #weavermovies. I signed up for E-mail alerts whenever an answer was posted on a thread that I follow. I never got one when you responded. Although my screen looks vastly different from yours, I made sure the "Forced Subtitle" box was checked. It was... Already checked. I appreciate the input.

Your issue was with Netflix, right? Please start a new thread with the info on the special movie/show you have tried, screenshots, and the log files, thanks.
