I used youtube-dl to archive my shows from watch.foodnetwork.com. But now with the "redesign" at Foodnetwork they switched over to DASH format.

Support won't tell me if I subscribe to DiscoveryPlus.com, if I will encounter the same issue.

Can anyone tell me does StreamFab allow you to archive the shows from DiscoveryPlus.com or are we waiting for them to create a workaround for the DASH video format.

I was able to download Frozen Planet and BBC Earth from Discovery+ last week via StreamFab's Discovery+ downloader. I've just started downloading season 12 of Gold Rush now and it seems to be working.

As long as the episodes you want are on Discovery+ they should download.

NOTE: I have not tried using the YouTube downloader to access Discovery+ but I know trying the YouTube Downloader on nationalgeographic.com I was getting the DASH MPD format error.

yes, discovery+ works fine for me. UK and US regions tested.
