    StreamFab 5.0.2.1 Windows 10 - Apple TV+

Video downloads are only SD quality. 480p / 360p. Does this no longer work for HD downloads for AppleTV+

This downloader had had issues for some time now. Is is no longer being supported?

For newly released Apple TV+ videos, I am afraid that there is no solution to get a higher resolution at the moment.

Apple TV + is no longer supported by the developer. They don't care to put out a proper fix. It's been months, pretty much just abandonware at this point

Saying that it is no longer supported by the developer and abandonware because it hasn't worked for higher resolutions for 2 months seems a bit childish to me.

You should be well aware that a lot of providers made big changes in December and upgraded Widewine etc. This broke absolutely everything for some weeks.

We are still recovering from this happening and the solutions are not that simple as some seem to believe. The DRM implementations are very complex things and can take quite some time to get around again.

Sure there are others that have. Let's say a bit different tools that have already done it. But those solutions are not for the masses.

            Ahh, another simp, I see.
The fact is that nothing I said is untrue. Nothing
This has been broken for 3 months now, not two
Have they done anything to fix it? No
Have the moved on to other things? Yes
This is the perfect definition of abandonware

When customers pay you for a product, you get that product working, asap if it breaks. You don't just give up and move on to new features . You don't just give up and move on to the next project. you stay working on the broken issue until you fix it

This is something this company has failed to grasp for so long it's not funny. It's disrespectful to customers who PAY for a specific product to just abandon the product halfway through it. Yet, here we are.

You can call me a simp all you want it still don't change your childish attitude to this.

I explained to you in a very simple way that these things are not fixed instantly because they are very complex but you deliberately choose to ignore it.

Your ranting about it being abandonware is wrong since they have been fixing other things to that very same module. Just not being able to circumvent the protection.
It can take months and yet months to get it fully working again.

And in that time while they are still working on fixing other things in the module while waiting for the DRM to again be beaten. What on earth is wrong with making new modules for other sites? Why would they stop developing the product just because ONE module isn't working with the higher bitrates where is the logic in that?

You will see that one day again the module will be working when things have been figured out. But this is all a cat and mouse game between crackers and protection companies. One day it works another day it will not. You just need to deal with this.

No, they haven't. They have , quite literally, done nothing to this module in months.

They owe it to their customers to get this working as a priority. Period, bar none. ALL resources must be focused on this module and getting it working. That's how proper software development works

I purchased the entire suite of download apps when I initially bought the software, and since then new downloaders have been added. I am totally ok with having to pay for new download apps (as we need to support continued development).

But, I am concerned how the company keeps moving full throttle with adding new download apps, and not addressing issues that present with current ones. There is a responsibility from any software vendor to support the product for customers that have already purchased it as well.

For example, the ongoing issue with HBO Max 1080p and higher resolutions. Why is that still not fixed? If all vendors were having trouble with the new DRM, I could understand... But StreamFab's primary competitor not only resolved it, but did so very quickly. Is the company having issues with reliable developers..?

They have not resolved the Apple downloader in more than half a year. Yet, they are still selling the app on the site despite its not functioning properly.

I sincerely hope there are discussions in the background with the company team and developers to address expedited fixes, to match their efforts for creating new downloaders. Current and/or repeat customers matter too folks, please remember that!
