Failure downloading from Hulu

Certain movies/tv shows from Hulu will not complete. Analyzing the Video does not complete and the download fails.

Just a word of warning to everyone, you've got to make sure all the episodes that SF tells you are available are actually available. As an example, Hulu released Season 2, Episode 3 of ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING today (July 5th). But if you look at SF you would think you could get Episode 3 plus 4 & 5.



But the truth is that the only new episode that you will get is Episode 3. It will look like SF is buggy because it fails to download 4 & 5 and the complaints will start. SF can really only download what is actually available from Hulu.



Mona, The Developer needs to fix SF so that it won't get fooled by Hulu's listing of future shows.

When this does this, can you switch to a browser and view the video? Or does the browser give an error, too?

No, it won't be viewable until on the date and time listed. If you click on it before then, absolutely nothing happens.

If an episode of a series is from FX, ABC, NBC, or anything NOT produced by Hulu, I usually wait 24 hours after it airs on their network. Any show produced by Hulu; such as Only Murders in the Building and Handmaid's Tale, can be downloaded on the same day it premieres.
