Just to have this info on 1920x816 file for "Along came a Spider" via Amazon Prime/Paramount vs 1920x1080 via Paramount Plus website.

Sometimes during re-encoding of a 1920x1080 file using "High Profile" in Handbrake you can see it converted to 1920x816.

There is no resolution loss on the picture content - it's just a decision not to encode areas of the 16:9 source that don't contain picture content and instead contain black (the bars).

It's saving space by not actually encoding the black bars that some films have at top and bottom.

I can't tell any difference in quality.

    Regards,

StreamFab showing the 1920x816 as 1080p
    Media info for both
Keep in mind, the 1920x816 has a 10,000kb/s bit rate, so it is compressed less, and should give an overall better picture quality than the 1920x1080 with 4500kb/s bit rate. You might not see it in a single freeze frame, but if there is a lot of motion in a scene it might be more noticeable. Or where there is a scene with gradual color gradation (like a night sky that transitions from light blue to dark blue), you might see banding in the color changes, rather than a smooth.

Rather than pasting the code again... Yes, Internal Affairs from Showtime Channel of Amazon Prime (using amazon downloader in StreamFab) does have sub titles.

The Longest Yard 2005 I don't see under Showtime on Amazon Prime. Searching shows it as pay to buy/rent and does not have the option to watch or watch via Showtime like it does with other movies included with Showtime..

According to Justwatch (https://www.justwatch.com/) or Trakt (https://trakt.tv/) the only subscription service you can get it through right now is the Roku Channel if you have their AMC+ option. Amazon also carries AMC+ but best I can tell, The Longest Yard 2005 is not part of it. I didn't look at AMC+ directly which supposedly can be downloaded with the StreamFab DRM MPD Downloader.

When looking at the "The Longest Yard (2005)" video file where it resides on my system..... the download date was 05/16/2022..... so I'm sure it's non availability is due to being rotated off of Showtime's catalog at either the end of May..... or possibly yesterday which was the end of June.....

Although I do appreciate the efforts.

Because if you click on it on IMDB it brings up the 1974 version.

I'm not personally looking for it myself. I was trying to find it for whoever it was that was asking about it earlier in this message thread. I guess it was KidJoe.
I think I've been to the site you listed about a dozen times today. From start to finish it's remained the same... you can't just stream the 2005 version by subscription. You need to either rent it or buy it. The 1974 version is the one that you can stream with a subscription to Amazon's Paramount+.

weavermovies had it on the list of Showtime movies to test in Post 9. So I was saying it wasn't available on Showtime or Showtime via Prime Channels. The only thing I saw in Amazon was to rent or buy.

I don't need it. I had already downloaded it from Netflix a while back.

I've been following this thread. (No subtiles wi/Paramount) Here I've been having Subtitle problems with both Paramount Plus and Netflix since June 24th. Any new info or news on the Paramount Subtitle issue?

Last I heard was they could reproduce the issue. Something changed on paramount's end, and they were working on it.

Personally, I am thinking we'll see a fix in the next update. But I am also trying not to get my hopes up that we will.

Didn't notice this thread. This is my thread with logs

I wish the developers would test the product before release. I do not work for Streamfab and am tired of doing the work for them.
